About the Role

100 Thieves is seeking an Esports Content Lead with expert knowledge of the League of Legends, VALORANT, and Fortnite competitive scenes. The Esports Content Lead will be responsible for on-set producing original 100 Thieves esports content along with managing a small team of editors and producers. Esports content may be defined as individual videos, series, and formats that air across any or all current and/or emerging social media and video platforms owned and operated by 100 Thieves. The main priority of the position is to be the creative lead for both production and post-production which includes building original formats and show concepts from the initial pre-development phase through the post-launch marketing phase. The Esports Content Lead must have prior experience guiding a content team through production and developing highly trafficked YouTube and social content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in physical production and producing in the gaming or entertainment industry
• 5+ years of experience with YouTube and social media video
• Strong creative and technical production background
• Must be familiar with the gaming space especially League of Legends, LCS, Fortnite, and VALORANT
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite and Adobe products
• Experience working with and/or managing Asana, Trello, Jira or similar project management system preferred
• Ability to communicate directly and strategically between multiple parties
• Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Able to proactively own and execute designated tasks independently, with a high level of comfort of asking for help when needed
• Personable and approachable with a strong customer service orientation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Supervise several projects in various points of production from development through delivery
• Build and lead a team of video editors and producers in the creation and distribution of content
• Develop and produce content with gaming and entertainment influencers
• Develop social extensions of YouTube programming that expands reach, in addition to social-native video concepts
• Integrate strategy that supports content creation according to viral video trends
• Develop a pipeline with a clear vision of how the show will roll out and be marketed to the end user
• Own projects from pre-production to post-production
• Proactively manage, troubleshoot and communicate all changes and issues as needed
• Troubleshoot, proactively identify, and quickly resolving production issues and/or inefficiencies
• Think strategically with an eye for balancing production needs and content opportunities with ROI
