Wasserman is looking for an Associate Director to become key contributor in the US Brands and Properties Projects team. This position will be responsible for leading strategic projects and partner solutions across multiple Wasserman clients. The candidate is expected to provide excellent customer service, as well as manage project teams to ensure a high level of product quality. Creatively solving client challenges across the sports and entertainment (i.e. culinary, fashion, film, music, the ideal candidate is comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires them to toggle between various partnership capabilities and expertise as they support a rotating roster of brand and property clients.

Responsibilities:

  • With minimal oversight, handle day-to-day management of multiple brand and properties projects in their entirity from initial scope to final deliverable, determining milestones and outputs.
  • Lead assigned project teams in client service, partnership management, general relationship development, and project coordination.
  • Quickly grasp and understand Wasserman capabilities and service offerings in order to work on multlple opportunities and lead projects across the different products.
  • Demonstrates a track record of developing and cultivating relationships with clients, properties, talent partners and media partners as well as agency teams and third-party vendors.
  • Experience in and ability to dive into significant amounts of information, conduct analyses, and develop influential storylines and presentations (e.g. strategic plans, market landscapes, partnership point of view reports, etc.)
  • Ability to present final presentations and deliverables to all level of client leadership, no matter the audience.
  • Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets against initial scope, required resourcing and meet financial targets.
  • Create a positive, collaborative environment that aligns with Wasserman company culture and values.
  • Actively supervise staff, provide feedback, and ensure professional development of junior staff on your team.
  • In partnership with the Projects Team Leadership, write new business scopes and resourcing plans for specific clients needs, grounded in Wasserman’s current suite of products/services
  • Comfortable expanding beyond the remit of this particular role and is willing to support and/or help lead new client pitches and play a role in responding to RFPs.
  • Pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients and potential clients.

 

  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop and refine client deliverables, such as presentations, reporting tools, and supporting materials

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; 8+ years relevant experience including managing a team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines
  • Strong leadership capabilities to motivate team to accomplish goals and develop professional skills.
  • Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel for deck development
  • Working knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics.
  • Ability to foresee issues developing before they arise and develop a solution as needed
  • Focused and strong-minded with an ambition to help grow the company
  • Specific experience or knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry; either from the Brands or Properties perspective
  • Experience with syndicated research tools preferred (e.g., GWI, CrowdTangle, Scarborough)
  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Innate curiosity, proactive thinking and the ability to isolate key insights that will contribute to practical strategic recommendations
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • High level of initiative and works well independently and in a team environment.
