We are looking for a Senior Manager Brand Communications for our NCAA team at our North American headquarters in Portland, OR.
The Senior Manager Brand Communications, NCAA will be responsible for ensuring perfect planning and execution of the brand communication plans in the US, to reach brand KPI targets with full cooperation of BU, global and US Comms.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead and assist in strategic planning phase of the brand communication activities for the US in close collaboration with the Brand Communications Director
- Align with NCAA team to develop a yearly calendar of product launches and stories
- Lead in the development of strategic plan, calendar, and tool kits to inform own retail, eCom and Key Account planning and execution
- Responsible for driving the creation of a comprehensive multi-dimensional brand plan to be used to inform all brand activation interphases (Campaigns, Newsrooms, Events, Grassroots, Sport Marketing).
- Responsible for the daily management of internal and external resources (agencies) in campaign briefings and execution
- Maintain a deep operational relationship with business units and channel heads to ensure full coordination of brand activities and compliance with brand activation calendar
- Maintain close strategic ties with category counterparts to inform global asset creation ensuring all local business unit needs are met
- Where necessary lead in creation of tool kits to support local business unit priorities in close partnership with respective categories
- Lead and partner cross functional execution of Digital Marketing, In Store Communications, Events, Social and Newsroom teams to ensure a consistent and consumer relevant message is brought to life in the US market across all key touchpoints
- Manage consumer knowledge and competition knowledge tools and processes with internal and external partners
- Deliver post-campaign evaluation performance by conducting or coordinating research and tracking project development and collating results into regular quality reports.
- Manage the category brand budgets and influence the direction of co-op budgets behind related initiatives

- Experience managing communications in a leading sports/and or fashion brand environment
- College degree, preferably in a Marketing discipline
