About the Role

We are looking for an incredible Brand Marketing Director who can bring the Tempo brand to life. The role will lead the brand team and all brand initiatives, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all marketing channels and throughout the business. You will own end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns that are centered around furthering our mission and driving cultural relevance.

We have a compelling story to tell, a unique product to sell and a multi faceted brand to build. We know who we are and want to share our story with the world. You have a curious, questioning mind and are obsessed with joining the dots between a brand, product, community and potential customers. You understand how to build a brand, how to build a community and how to lead a team to execute the most impactful campaigns. You have worked closely with in-house creative partners, creative agencies and paid media agencies and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You can build something from scratch. 

Responsibilities:

  • Author creative briefs rooted in customer and cultural insights to define our brand
  • Drive end-to-end brand campaigns working closely with internal and external partners (creative, product, comms to ensure projects stay on track and on strategy
  • Conduct analysis of and deliver regular reporting on campaign performance
  • Partner closely with the performance marketing team to drive brand understanding across all channels
  • Educate cross functional teams on the Tempo brand and how to stay true to our brand vision in every area of the business

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years brand marketing strategy with a consumer brand and/or marketing agency
  • Experience creating brand campaigns that have cut through crowded industry space and driven cultural conversation through compelling narratives
  • Experience with technology and product storytelling
  • Excel in building and leading a team
  • Have an extraordinary ability to influence others within your function and others
  • Start-up experience essential
  • Experience working in the fitness industry is a plus and passion for fitness is a must.
