Real games are played in a single, hi-tech studio arena and streamed live on Twitch and other platforms. Job Summary

An effective candidate must be have proven experience and ability to identify and approach emerging and established talent via relationships and creative deal structuring, balancing the needs of talent with the needs of the league, supporting decisions with data and research, driving new ideas and concepts forward, and contributing to the day-to-day management of an influencer / owner program.

 

The Talent and Influencer Marketing Manager will also provide support in all aspects of influencer marketing strategy development and influencer opportunities working with other FCF stakeholders / departments (Partnerships, Sponsorships etc.) ensuring league objectives are being met.

 

In their day-to-day the Talent and Influencer Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining direct, on-going relationships with celebrity owners and their management teams. This person will also be responsible for conceptualizing unique ideas for event activations and key FCF moments (OTG or on social media) and bringing these ideas/ events to life through successful project and event management.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will partner with and report directly to the Head of Growth Marketing to build and deliver against a highly collaborative, cross-functional business plan and team process that consistently delivers best in class marketing initiatives / campaigns

  • Develop and maintain direct, on-going relationships with talent including celebrity players and owners and their management team / agents.
  • Conceptualize unique ideas for event activations that talent can participate in onsite at Game Day and responsible for bringing these ideas to life working with onsite experiential agency and fan experience team.
  • As point person for influencers and talent, this candidate will leverage key FCF assets to broaden reach and drive engagement
  • Support in conceptualizing and executing unique content ideas that enable talent / influencers to connect with players, other celebrity owners/influencers, fans etc…
  • Measure and analyze performance of key owner / talent initiatives and educate the greater organization oh how to optimize these activations via best practice sharing
  • Build connections with emerging talent in expansive, ever-changing entertainment, music, gaming and web3 industries
  • Coordinate influencers / talent in-person appearances which includes, but not limited to; handling travel, accommodations, contracts, talent gifting, event credentials, and broadcast appearances etc
  • Manage all aspects of Influencer/ talent budgets, working with finance team on payment, travel and accommodations, and recap/ reporting
  • Build and maintain the league’s database for Influencers and talent for expansion teams
  • Provide consistent updates on trends and updates in the influencer space applicable to the FCF
  • Contributes to creating presentation decks and recap decks, presenting in internal and external meetings, preparations for meetings, writes agendas, prepares facilities, recaps campaigns, etc.

 

Job Qualifications

  • BA required; emphasis in marketing, advertising, a plus.
  • Atlanta based position; would consider neighboring state with commuter flight options
  • Proven track record working with influencers and celebrity talent
  • Proven track record of bringing new concepts to life via successful event management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing external talent and relationships
  • Experience conceptualizing unique event activations and experiences preferred
  • Candidate must be located within Atlanta area or short flight from other Southeastern state
  • Must be able to work weekends (Saturday) during the season (April - June)
  • Energetic, Flexible, Resourceful, Collaborative
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to use good judgement and to exercise discretion in confidential matters
  • Ability to evaluate potential talent on brand fit for the league against a set criteria
  • Must possess outstanding work ethic and be highly self-motivated
